THA produces commercial furniture for professionals who, by desire or necessity, require more then an off-the-shelf solution to their needs. THA furniture is unique; it begins with a fluid approach to design and engineering to achieve the client’s ultimate needs and visions.

Concept is turned into reality with extraordinary skill, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

THA began producing furniture in 1998 and was incorporated in 1999. Although THA’s inception was fairly recent the company and its employees go back much further.

In 1930 a commercial furniture company, JG Furniture, was started in NY. The original owner moved the company to Quakertown PA in 1960. THA is still operating in the same plant that JG developed for that move. From its inception until their unfortunate end in 1998, JG Furniture Systems supplied quality furniture to many firms. The owners of THA, Tom Hontz and Mitchell Eisen, recognized that there still existed a demand for “JG” type furniture. This demand came from two fronts. First, from pre-existing JG customers with a need for re-stack and add-ons and, secondly from new customers who require a Grade “A” commercial furniture manufacturer. Tom Hontz Associates, t/a THA Inc. was born.

There is in excess of 200 years of furniture making experience at THA. Many of our employees have been producing furniture in this same facility for over 25 years. Head engineer and designer, chief of research and development, upholstery manager, plant director and vice president of sales and marketing are all in place and ready to support your efforts.

Our size and experience allows THA to provide quality custom furniture in a very short lead-time with attractive pricing. The scope of the custom pieces range from electronically height adjustable trader’s desks, to solid wood and upholstered “worm” seating for Children’s Hospital; from 45’ boardroom tables to metal and glass display and metal display cases for Infiniti Automobiles.

Satisfied clients are the lifeblood of THA. Below are some of our clients.
